With over 30 years’ industry experience and 20 years as a Chartered Civil Engineer, Richard has significant expertise in the design and supervision of major highway projects and industrial and residential development infrastructure including planning, Flood Risk Assessments and adoption procedures. As Director of Ingent Consulting Engineers, he has overall responsibility for client projects and enjoys working with all the members of his team. Out of the office, Richard plays squash, keeps up with his two teenage sons and is the proud owner of a classic Triumph motorbike.

With over eighteen years engineering experience, Matt is managing the infrastructure design for numerous developments across East Anglia with involvement in all stages from strategy and planning support to delivery of major schemes. Trying to find innovative approaches to engineering challenges is one of his favourite tasks. Out of hours Matt can be found spending time with his family and cycling around the lanes of Essex where he lives.

Dan is an Incorporated Engineer with over 22 years of experience and specialises in highway and drainage design, using his in-depth knowledge of SuDs to produce Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies to meet the constantly developing legislative requirements. He particularly enjoys the problem-solving aspect of his job, finding creative solutions to challenges. Away from the office Dan plays badminton for Rushmere Badminton Club and plays seven aside football.

Kieran, a Chartered Civil Engineer, leads the Bury St Edmunds Office that he established back in 2018. With over 18 years’ experience, his career ignited within the construction sector back in 2005, Kieran has amassed invaluable hands-on experience in dealing with the practical application and problem solving, his adeptness extends to effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and authorities. At present, Kieran’s responsibilities revolve around the design and oversight of Civil Engineering projects across the size spectrum, these schemes include the intricacies of planning, drainage strategies, Flood Risk Assessments, highways, and earthworks, all the way through to meticulous design considerations and adoptions. While his work primarily keeps him stationed in the office, Kieran finds great satisfaction in venturing out to construction sites, witnessing the tangible application of his endeavours. Beyond his professional life, he dedicates time to his personal interests, which encompass snooker, pool, chess, and the world of motor racing.
