Waste Transfer Building, Costessey, Norfolk

A recent project involved providing consultancy on the demolition and redevelopment of an existing commercial site in Costessey, Norfolk to allow for the construction of a new waste transfer building for Veolia, which could incorporate a vehicle depot, parking and office facilities.

Works included designing concrete yards to maximise the use of existing pavements and features and the creation of a new surface water drainage system to deliver the most economical solution to comply with the planning permission.

In addition, technical advice demonstrated how the planning conditions would be met and how robust and resilient measures would handle flood risk on the site.
